DELIRIUM is a stunning, precious illumination of dance as immersion in Divine Relationship. The fruit of DUNYA’S 25-year involvement in this cathartic trance process is caught on film under the direction of Michelle Mahrer. Originally shot for the documentary, Dances of Ecstasy, Dunya’s performance is now offered as a poetic solo work. The dancer releases volitional performative drives inviting energies beyond the conscious self to direct the body. Her prodigious skill becomes a spiritual cipher.
